Advance Shipping Notice

  • Sinacom uses Advanced Shipping Notice, a document that provides detailed information about a pending delivery. The purpose of an ASN is to notify our customer when shipping occurs and provides physical characteristics about the shipment so our customer can be prepared to accept delivery. ANS is transmitted via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to let our customer know that a shipment is coming. An ASN is a simple, but powerful tool to keep our customers informed, reduce customer service labor.
